How to contact this service
Description
Rutland Sailability aim to share the sport of sailing with people who have a wide range of disabilities.
Members can learn to sail, sail solo, race (at local, national or international levels), or simply enjoy the sensation of being out on the water in a beautiful setting (Rutland Water).
Sailing activities take place at Rutland Sailability from April to October. During the winter months, a range of talks, training courses, and social activities are also arranged. This provides members with year-round opportunities to maintain regular contact with like-minded friends.
Membership is open to people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, or sensory impairments (aged 7-18).
If you would like to support Rutland Sailability activities (on a regular weekly basis), there are plenty of tasks available. Sailing skills are a bonus but certainly not essential.
Opening Times:
All Year: Thursdays (10am-3pm)
