Shire Community Services

Shire Community Services offer a door-to-door transport service in and around Wellingborough and surrounding villages - running regular services to the town centre and local supermarkets. They also run regular excursions for members to out-of-town garden centres, Rushden Lakes, mystery tours, seaside trips, and many more.

Shire offers a medical car service where the volunteer car drivers will pick you up from your home and take you to any medical appointment, e.g. hospital, dentist, optician, doctors etc. They also offer a 'Shopmobility' service, where wheelchairs and mobility scooters can be hired from the Wellingborough town centre office.

Shire serves the elderly, disabled and vulnerable within the community. All bus trips are free if the passenger has a valid bus pass. Shire serves customers in Wellingborough, Kettering, and surrounding villages. All bookings are made over the phone, 01933 223636.
