Friars Academy is a special secondary school for 145 pupils aged 11-18 years in North Northamptonshire. It's part of the Better Together Learning Trust.

Friars Academy is for pupils whose primary needs are:

  • Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Learning Disabilities

Pupils may also have (as secondary needs):

  • Sensory and/or Physical Needs

All pupils will have an Education, Health, and Care (EHC) Plan. The Local Authority will have identified their needs as requiring placement at Friars Academy.
