Description

Scope is a national pan-disability charity that campaigns to challenge and change negative attitudes about disability and provides direct services. Their activities and services include:

Sleep Right

Sleep Right (by Scope) supports families of children with special educational needs and/or disabilities aged 2-19 years, who have severe sleep problems and live in Northamptonshire. For more information, visit Scope Sleep Right Northamptonshire. All referrals must be made through a professional and not by parents directly. However, the website has a lot of useful resources that can be accessed.

Navigate: Emotional Support for Parents

Navigate is a phone-based support service for parents and carers whose children have either been diagnosed with a disability within the past twelve months or who are on a pathway to a diagnosis. Scope offers up to six support sessions with a parent adviser who will provide a combination of practical advice and emotional support. Click here for more information and to apply online.

Scope is a registered charity (no. 208231).
