Description
Hampton Bridge School (part of Spaghetti Bridge Ltd) is a new independent special school. It will have a creative, individualised approach to learning. Its approach will centre around wellbeing and skills for independence. School staff believe pupils can reach their full potential by rebuilding trust and confidence. The school will help pupils overcome their challenges and achieve personal and academic growth. From the time a pupil arrives, Hampton Bridge School will start thinking about where they will move to after they leave. It will aim to ensure pupils are well-prepared to achieve their goals and succeed.
Spaghetti Bridge schools work with children and young people aged 6-19 years. All pupils have special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) and an Education, Health, and Care (EHC) Plan.
Spaghetti Bridge schools support children and young people with a variety of needs. These include (but are not limited to):
- Autism
- Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
- Speech, language and communication needs (SLCN)
- Social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs
- Trauma and attachment needs
- Mild/moderate learning disabilities
Hampton Bridge School understands that pupils' needs are often complex. Pupils' needs often don't fall into primary and secondary areas. Because of this, the school carefully considers every referral. It aims to ensure the school will be right for the child or young person and that it will be able to meet their needs.
