• Communication is embedded throughout the school day using a Total Communication Approach.
• Pupils benefit from small classes and high levels of adult support.
• The school works closely with Speech and Language and Occupational Therapy professionals.
• Preparation for Adulthood is a key focus, helping pupils develop independence, communication and life skills for the future.
• Staff receive extensive specialist training to meet a wide range of communication, sensory and learning needs.

All pupils will have an EHC Plan. The Local Authority will have identified their needs as requiring placement at Tiffield Academy.
