Progress Schools Ltd is a national organisation that offers alternative education provision. Their schools teach 11-16 year-olds who require a different approach to mainstream education in order to meet their academic, emotional, behavioural, or social needs. Progress Schools Northampton uses supportive teaching methods to ensure a positive progression into the world of Further Education, work-based learning, or employment. Pupils aged 11-16 that are currently not in formal education or are at risk of being permanently excluded can be referred either by their current place of education or the local authority.
