Description
The National Crime Agency's (NCA) Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Education Team aim to help protect children and young people from the threat of online child sexual abuse, reducing vulnerability factors to abuse, through education.
The programme supports three key audiences: professionals, children aged 4-18 years, and parents/carers. It and aims to:
- Increase the knowledge of professionals working with children and young people in education settings, of online child sexual abuse.
- Increase children’s knowledge, skills and resilience, making them safer online and ensuring they know how to seek help when they need it.
- Increase the knowledge and capability of parents and carers to identify online child sexual abuse and support children and young people.
