Children and Family Support Service (CFSS) - NCT
How to contact this service
Description
The Children and Family Support Service (CFSS) are always looking to support children and familes with a range of support services.
They offer a range of early support services to children, young people, and families across Northamptonshire. They aim to strengthen families and stop problems from escalating. They also help professionals strengthen the support they offer to children and families.
CFSS - Supporting Families
Every family faces difficulties at some point when they might need a little extra help from others. The CFSS works with whole families (parents, carers, and children 0-19) to support them when difficulties arise and the support needed is not available from agencies already involved with the family. They work alongside other agencies such as health, education, and voluntary services to try to make sure that the family has the right support at the right time from the right services. The CFSS works with families facing a range of issues including domestic abuse, parenting support needs, accessing education, well-being support and many more.

CFSS - Supporting Children and Young People
The CFSS aims to support all children and young people in Northamptonshire. Their Young People's Service is dedicated to supporting young people aged 11-18 who are experiencing issues such as: criminal and sexual exploitation, knife crime, serious youth violence, gang affiliation, self-confidence and self-esteem, identity and culture, family breakdown, domestic abuse, and many more.
The CFSS team's approach consists of creating safety with young people and families by building trusted relationships and being proactive and persistent. Within the Young People's Service, they will work with young people who need support through an Early Help Assessment (EHA) or who have an allocated social worker.
