Description
The SEND Specialist Teacher (SST) Service provides support for education settings. Every school has its own Link SST contact. The service includes:
- the completion of SEND Audits
- the undertaking of learning walks
- giving advice and guidance on the 'Assess, Plan, Do, Review' process
- providing bespoke training
- being a single point of contact for special educational needs coordinators (SENCos)
- faciliating SENCo network meetings
- carrying out quality assurance of schools' progress towards Education, Health, and Care (EHC) Plan outcomes
