Description
NIMP has been set up to support SENDCO practitioners in Northamptonshire's early years providers. Headed up by a committee of experts in the SENDCO childcare field, theyhelp mentor SENDCOs and their teams to achieve the high levels of quality and care.
MentoringExperts are on hand to help SENDCOs and their teams improve the level of care you can offer. Mentors work with SENDCOs to assess their settings and the resources available and tailor a programme that will enable SENDCOs to reach their goals.
Signposting and Knowledge SharingNIMP offer a signposting service that puts SENDCOs in touch with people in the know. NIMP is made up of individuals with a diverse knowledge bank who will help with solutions, ideas and similar situations, and tackle issues head on.
TrainingNIMP offer a range of training through four clusters located in Northampton; Kettering/ Corby; Higham Ferrers and East Northants; Daventry and South Northants. Each cluster puts on an evening session once a term and offers a half-day training once a term.

- Cost per cluster is £5 per person. Membership is not required but booking is recommended.
