Festival Spirit

Festival Spirit is a charity that provides the full festival experience to young people who would not normally be able to attend (and enjoy) such an event due to life-limiting illness or a disability. The charity are passionate about helping people who never thought they could attend a festival - making them feel safe in the knowledge that they will have all the facilities, support, and back-up necessary. Festival Spirit use a specially-adapted marquee for accommodation at the festivals. It has hard flooring, heating, and electricity. It's always positioned close to disabled facilities such as showers and toilets. The charity also provide 'buddies' to assist guests (and their carers) to see bands, and to attend all the workshops and activities. Festival Spirit is a registered charity (no. 1144888).
