Northampton Door-to-Door Service (NDDS)

Northampton Door-to-Door Service (NDDS) is a minibus service for people within the borough of Northampton who are unable to use conventional public transport because of a permanent or temporary disability, infirmity, or those suffering age-related mobility problems.

NDDS offer two levels of service

1. Basic Demand Responsive Service (DRS) is free for non-assisted travel where the minibus will arrive at the appointed time, in a place nearest to the passengers’ address. 
2. Full NDDS Door-to-Door Membership is available at an annual cost of £35.  The drivers will pick up from the member’s address (or specified location), help them to and from the minibus, assist with shopping and other goods on and off the bus and to the front door if required

Once registered, members pay a fare for any journeys before 9.30am, depending on distance travelled. Fares apply to all journeys if members do not have a travel pass.

Guide and helper dogs are carried free-of-charge. Please be as flexible as you can in your travel requirements.
