Northampton Door-to-Door Service (NDDS)

How to contact this service
Description
Northampton Door-to-Door Service (NDDS) is a minibus service for people within the borough of Northampton who are unable to use conventional public transport because of a permanent or temporary disability, infirmity, or those suffering age-related mobility problems.
Northampton Door-to-Door Service will pick you up at your door and take you to any destination within the borough of Northampton. Most NDDS vehicles are specially built to allow access for wheelchairs and electric scooters. Their drivers are specially trained to ensure journeys are comfortable and secure. You don't have to be a wheelchair user.
Once registered, members pay a fare for any journeys before 9.30am, depending on distance travelled. Fares apply to all journeys if members do not have a travel pass.
Guide and helper dogs are carried free-of-charge. Please be as flexible as you can in your travel requirements.
Journeys are booked two days in advance. Four buses cover the whole of Northampton, so the service may not be able to take you on your preferred day.
