It was developed by the Disabled Living Foundation (DLF), a national charity with 50 years’ experience in providing independent advice about independent living for disabled adults and children, older people, their carers, and their families. Living Made Easy do not sell equipment themselves, and their core value is impartiality. Their website aims to provide comprehensive and independent information about all products on the UK market from all national retailers. It is supported by expert advice, which is provided by occupational therapists and other expert health and social care practitioners. The DLF is part of the Shaw Trust. The Shaw Trust is a registered charity (no. 287785).
