Disability, Pregnancy, and Parenthood is a volunteer-led charity that promotes awareness and support for Deaf and disabled people during pregnancy and parenthood.

Disability, Pregnancy, and Parenthood is for:

• Disabled parents;
• Disabled people who wish to become parents;
• Health and social care professionals;
• Any individual or organisation concerned with disability, pregnancy, and parenting.

Services:

Disability, Pregnancy, and Parenthood's website is a source of information and support for disabled parents and their professional allies. It enables people to share knowledge by describing their experiences, sharing examples of good practice, and reviewing adaptive equipment and techniques. Users can ask questions to be answered by a growing community of users (who bring diverse knowledge and experience). Users can help others by answering questions, writing reviews, and sharing experiences and ideas.

Disability, Pregnancy, and Parenthood publish accessible guides on many aspects of disabled parenting. A small charge is made for publications to help cover costs. However, disabled parents may request publications free-of-charge by emailing [email protected].
