Description

Daventry Social Club is a group for people aged 15-29 years. It aims to create a safe social space for young people to meet new people. The club is particularly accessible for individuals who have difficulties socialising and anxiety around social situations.

The group meets at the New Street Centre every two weeks on a Friday evening for a game night. During the sessions, they play a range of board games, from classic Cluedo to funny card games. The sessions provide structured activities that make socialising easier. The group also hosts other activities throughout the year such as seasonal baking, crafts, bowling, dog-walking, bingo, and much more.

Daventry Social Club has reduced numbers, so the sessions aren't busy or overwhelming. You can bring a family member or friend with you to help you settle in. You can also visit before the session to have a look around.

There is no joining fee, so you can drop in and out whenever you like. Many members find social situations difficult, so everyone is very friendly and understanding if you do too. Daventry Social Club do their best to accommodate everyone. Send them a message if you (or someone you know) might be interested.
