Description
If you’re interested in a child or young person attending one of the groups, please email: [email protected]. One of the Action for Children team will contact you to arrange a home visit and invite you to visit one of the groups.
AFC Clubs
The AFC Clubs are for children and young people with a disability. Those eligible for the clubs will have a range of needs including learning disabilities or autism. Sessions includes games, crafts, messy play, outdoor play, sensory play and much more. The AFC Clubs:
- Provide an opportunity to relax and have fun
- Offer a chance to learn and try new activities
- Build confidence and independence
- Provide assurance for parents that children and young people are taking part in positive and enjoyable activities to help them grow and develop
- Provide an opportunity to socialise and make new friends
Daventry AFC Club (School Holidays)
- Nene Hall Community Centre, Tamar Square, Daventry NN11 4RB
- Mondays and Tuesdays (10am-3pm)
- For children and young people aged 5-17 years
- £10 per session
Daventry AFC Club (Term Time)
- Nene Hall Community Centre, Tamar Square, NN11 4RB
- Saturdays (10am-3pm)
- For children and young people aged 8-17 years
- £10 per session
These non-residential short breaks are commissioned by Northamptonshire Children's Trust.
