Northamptonshire Safeguarding Children Partnership (NSCP)

Northamptonshire Safeguarding Children Partnership (NSCP) is multi-agency and is responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of work to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.

The website includes a wealth of information for professionals, parents / carers and focus on young people. It is designed to be interesting and informative, easy to navigate and has the flexibility to be updated at any time with topical information and news.

Whilst the content of the web site continues to be developed, it will be constantly monitored and the NSCP would encourage colleagues to take a look and submit any comments using the ‘Contact Us’ option at the foot of the homepage. Online and face-to-face safeguarding training for can be accessed via the training page on the website.

Training is free for Northamptonshire -based professionals that work with children and young people. However, there is a charge for failing to attend booked face-to-face courses (£50 for half-day courses and £100 for full-day courses). Additionally, NSCP’s eLearning courses are free to access, but there will be a charge of £40 if these courses are not completed within 4 weeks of accessing them.
