Broomhall's and Young Creations (Day Provision)

Broomhall’s and Young Creations provide friendly day services for adults with learning disabilities in the Northampton area.

The service was started by Veronica Broomhall, who wanted better opportunities for people with SEND after school. It has been running for many years and is now led by Sophie Howe, who continues this work.

Sessions take place mainly at Fernie Fields in Moulton, with regular trips out in the community. People who attend help choose the activities. A pick-up and drop-off service may be available.

There are many things to do, including cooking, sports, gardening, and creative activities. Fernie Fields has a Changing Places facility, a sensory garden, and adapted bikes, making it more accessible.

Young Creations offers music, dance, and theatre, with chances to take part in performances and community events. Its annual pantomime is written, produced and directed by the participants. Shows are accessible to all ages and abilities.
