So the charity gives children and young people the skills they need so they aren't left behind, waiting to be understood.

Information and Support - If you think your child is having challenges with talking and understanding words, Speech and Language UK are there to help you. Their free resources and services help with understanding what to look out for, explain how to get support, and provide some simple ways you can help your child at home.

Educator Hub - Whether you’re working with early years, primary or secondary students, Speech and Language UK can help you support children who struggle with talking and understanding words.

Driving Change - Speech and Language UK puts pressure on politicians to prioritise support for children with speech and language challenges and educate the public about what it’s really like to be one of the 1.7 million children with challenges learning to talk and understand words.

Adviceline for families - The charity's advice line is designed to give parents or carers and practitioners a chance to discuss questions or concerns about a child’s speech and language development with one of their speech and language therapists (SALT). The service is free.
