Rowan Gate Primary School (Special), Wellingborough

Rowan Gate Primary School is a mixed primary special school for pupils aged 2 to 11 years. It has two sites (in Wellingborough and Rushden) and can accommodate 200 pupils in North Northamptonshire.

Rowan Gate Primary School is for pupils whose primary needs are:

• Severe Learning Disabilities (SLD)
• Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Pupils may also have (as secondary needs):

• Speech, Language, and Communication Needs (SLCN)
• Sensory and/or Physical Needs
• Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) Needs

All pupils will have an Education, Health, and Care (EHC) Plan. The Local Authority will have identified their needs as requiring placement at Rowan Gate Primary School.
