Northamptonshire People First are a self-advocacy group run for (and by) people with learning disabilities. Their activities include:

  • Running and controlling their organisation
  • Holding committee meetings to make decisions
  • Attending conferences
  • Conducting learning disability research
  • Advocacy
  • Holding social nights

Northamptonshire People First can help people:

  • Develop their office, computer, and telephone skills
  • Attend meetings (to share their ideas)
