Description
Venture RDA provides therapeutic riding for primary-aged children with a disability or special needs.
Riding can be particularly beneficial to people who have profound and multiple learning difficulties because it is multi-sensory experience. It can help with communication and social skills, build confidence, and awareness of others.
The group operates Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings term-time. They work with local schools on weekdays and families on Saturdays.
Venture RDA is a working name of Wilby Riding for the Disabled Association Incorporating Carriage Driving (registered charity no. 1173610).
