Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF)

How to contact this service
Description
The Holiday Activities and Food programme (HAF) is a Government funded programme. It provides free holiday clubs for reception to year 11 pupils who receive benefits-related Free School Meals. It runs over the summer, Christmas, and Easter school holidays.
Activities range from climbing at the Pinnacle Centre to go-karting at Teamworks Karting. There are also activities such as performing arts, multi-sports camps, and fitness clubs.
In West Northamptonshire, HAF is delivered by Northamptonshire Sport.
If you’re not sure whether your child’s eligible, you can get more information and apply for free school meals here.
West Northamptonshire Council can use up to 15% of its HAF funding to provide places for children who don’t receive Free School Meals but would still benefit from the HAF programme.
If your child has SEND and you feel they would benefit from HAF provision, please discuss it with their school in the first instance. If your child is home educated or has an EOTAS package, please email [email protected] and [email protected].
