The Mentaur Day Opportunities Resource Centre (MDORC) is near Kingsthorpe and close to Northampton Town Centre. It is a place where people can take part in many activities. It also helps people use local community resources.
At MDORC, people can learn independent skills. They are encouraged to make their own choices. The centre helps them try new skills, hobbies, and interests.
MDORC also offers supported work experience and work placements. It helps arrange college placements too. People can get training in horticulture, computer skills, and art and crafts. They can also learn communication, social, and daily living skills.
