Maplefields Training and Development

Maplefields Training and Development is based at Maplefields Academy in Corby.

Teaching school hubs will provide high-quality professional development to teachers at all stages of their careers and Maplefields will be working with the Northamptonshire Teaching School Hub who will play a significant role in delivering school based initial teacher training (ITT), the early career framework (ECF) and the new specialist NPQs. They will continue to provide school-to-school support, which forms a separate arm of the Department for Education, their tailored behaviour outreach, high quality training and development and the ITT programme as the lead school in partnership with SAF (Sharnbrook Academy Federation).

Their work is tailored to meet individual school’s needs. Together with the former teaching alliance strategic partners who they continue to work with;(  Kingsley Academy, Rowan Gate school, Friars Academy, Isebrook College, Daventry Hill School, Red Kite Academy and Wren Spinney they have a huge expertise, knowledge and experience in SEND which they are keen to share with schools.
