Mower’s Ark is a Christian ministry. It supports people with learning disabilities. It offers care and useful opportunities.

Vision

The goal is a community where people with learning disabilities are valued. The service helps with person-centred and motivating work activities.

Specialist Day Service

Mower’s Ark provides day services in Northamptonshire. Support is personalised for each person. It can help people with complex needs.

Activities

People can take part in different activities, including:

• life skills

• communication

• physiotherapy

• wellbeing support

• sensory therapy

• forest school

• gardening

• hydrotherapy

• animal therapy (including horses)

Serving the Community

At the Sanctuary, people work on a safe 10-acre site. They learn how to care for animals. They also grow fruit and vegetables. Some people take part in work placements in the community.

Outdoor Spaces

People spend time outdoors. This helps their health and wellbeing. They gain real-life experiences. These help build skills, confidence, and self-esteem.
