If you’re interested in a child or young person attending one of the groups, please email: [email protected]. One of the Action for Children team will contact you to arrange a home visit and invite you to visit one of the groups.

AFC Clubs

The AFC Clubs are for children and young people with a disability. Those eligible for the clubs will have a range of needs including learning disabilities or autism. Sessions includes games, crafts, messy play, outdoor play, sensory play and much more. The AFC Clubs:

  1. Provide an opportunity to relax and have fun
  2. Offer a chance to learn and try new activities
  3. Build confidence and independence
  4. Provide assurance for parents that children and young people are taking part in positive and enjoyable activities to help them grow and develop
  5. Provide an opportunity to socialise and make new friends

Northampton AFC Club (Term Time)

  • Fernie Fields Sports Ground, Moulton NN3 7BD
  • Saturdays (10am-3pm)
  • For children and young people aged aged 8-17 years
  • £10 per session

Northampton AFC Club (School Holidays)

  • Fernie Fields Sports Ground, Moulton NN3 7BD
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays (10am-3pm)
  • For children and young people aged 5-17 years
  • £10 per session

Youth Club

The Youth Club is for children and young people with a disability. Those eligible for the club will have a range of needs including learning disabilities or autism. Sessions include games, arts and crafts, cooking, sports, film nights, and much more. The Youth Club:

  1. Provides an opportunity to relax and have fun
  2. Offers a chance to learn and try new activities
  3. Builds confidence and independence
  4. Provides assurance for parents that children are taking part in positive and enjoyable activities to help them grow and develop
  5. Provides an opportunity to socialise and make new friends

Ecton Youth Club (Term Time)

  • Ecton Village Hall, 78A High Street, Ecton NN6 0QB
  • Mondays (6:30pm-8:30pm)
  • For children and young people aged 8-17 years
  • £5 per session

These non-residential short breaks are commissioned by Northamptonshire Children's Trust.
