Job Opportunities – We’re recruiting!

Are you in interested in casual employment opportunities, assisting in the running of elections across the West Northamptonshire Council area? We are currently seeking dependable individuals to join our dedicated team who are responsible for the administration of elections and the annual canvass across the West Northamptonshire Council area.

During an election, we have a variety of casual employment roles available. For example, you may be interested in assisting electors to cast their ballot at the polling station. Or you may be interested in working at the count centre, supporting the delivery of an accurate and timely result. In addition to elections, we annually undertake the annual canvass within our community. The annual canvass ensures that the Electoral Register is as accurate and complete as possible. We are keen to hear from individuals who would enjoy interacting with members of the public.

Due to the nature of election and canvassing work, our staff must be flexible and be willing to work unsociable working hours beyond the working time directive. For the majority of roles, no prior experience of election/canvassing work is required. All training will be provided prior to the commencement of your employment.
