Finding the right support while you wait: explore our new SEND support lists
17 February 2026

Residents who have concerns about a child or young person’s development, or who are waiting for an assessment, diagnosis or outcome, may find this period worrying and sometimes overwhelming. Whatever stage you are at, it’s important to know that support is available across West Northamptonshire for families who need it.
To make it easier for families to find the right help, the local SEND partnership has developed three new support lists covering key areas of need. Each list brings together local services, resources and information in one place. They highlight support that you and your child can access while waiting for an initial assessment or outcome.
ASD and ADHD support
If you have requested an assessment for your child relating to autism or ADHD, you can view a range of local services, support and information available to families while you wait for an initial assessment or outcome:

These lists are designed to give families clear and accessible information at a time when early support can make a real difference. Whether you are waiting for an appointment, exploring early concerns, or looking for practical tools to use at home, we hope these resources help you feel more informed and supported.
