By singing up to our service you will receive free, confidential support from one of our trained advisers, who will guide you through a 12-week quit plan and provide practical advice to help manage cravings.

How to enter
Join the club, fill out our online form and make your pledge to quit smoking for good. You will be entered into our prize draw, with tickets kindly provided by Northampton Town Football Club.
The competition runs from 17 September to 28 October 2025.
The competition is run by West Northamptonshire Council (WNC) of One Angel Square, Northampton NN1 1ED.
The competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary. By submitting an entry you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
In entering, you confirm that you are eligible to do so. WNC may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter this competition.
The competition is open to all West Northants residents aged 18 and over, excluding employees of West Northants Council Stop Smoking management team. We reserve the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants.
Only one entry per person is permitted.
Entry is via on-line form only, by successfully completing our stop smoking sign up form.
Entrants will need to provide their name, email and postal address to enter. Prizes will be sent via email or post and WNC does not accept any responsibility for any incorrect contact details provided resulting in the loss of a prize. Incomplete or late entries will not be accepted.
The competition runs from Wednesday 17 September 2025 to Tuesday 28 October 2025. All entries must be received by 11:59pm on Tuesday 28 October 2025. Winners will be chosen by a random draw, performed by a computer process and will be notified by email by Friday 31 October 2025.
Your email address will be shared with Northampton Town Football club and you will be contacted by them to redeem your Prize. WNC are not liable for any missed prizes due to such actions as emails being missed or going into spam folders.
The Prize is detailed on our Stoptober Competition webpage. Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives.
WNC reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition or these terms at any time without prior notice. In the event of any dispute regarding conduct, results and all matters relating to the competition, WNCs decision is final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
The competition and rules will be governed by English law.

Northampton Town Football Club, known as the Cobblers, is a professional football team based in Northampton. The club was founded in 1897 and has a long history in English football.
They currently play in EFL League One, which is the third level of the English football league system. Their home ground is Sixfields Stadium, which has been their base since 1994 and can hold over 8,200 fans.
The team wears claret and white and is known for its strong community links and loyal local support.
One of the club’s proudest moments was reaching the First Division (now the Premier League) in the 1965–66 season. Although their time in the top division was short, it marked a major achievement in their history.
In recent years, the Cobblers have earned several promotions and continue to invest in youth development and community programmes. Their determination and dedicated fanbase make them a respected part of the English Football League.
