This course provides learners with the necessary learning to complete the level 2 award for personal licence holders.

Course coverage

The course requires learners to take a one-hour exam.
Once the course exam has been successfully completed and a certificate received, applicants can apply for a personal licence from their local authority. The current fee for a personal licence is £37.
Additional information
Log-in details for your e-learning will be provided usually within three working days of booking. Access to the course is available for twelve months from the date you are sent the log-in details.
Once you have completed your e-Learning, you will need to contact us to arrange the date and time of your e-exam. As bookings are on a live system, at least three options are required.
To be able to take the exam in the place of your choosing, you will be required to provide photographic ID and will need the following:
- WiFi
- a private room
- a PC / laptop with a front-facing camera and Chrome set as the default browser
- an Android phone or iPhone with camera and video so that an app may be downloaded
We will email you with your joining instructions for the exam and invigilation by an external examiner. These include tests to ensure that your technology and equipment will support the exam set-up. The tests must be carried out at least 48 hours before the date and time of your exam. Failure to check / lack of connectivity on the exam date is likely to require you to re-book for which there will be an additional charge.
The pass mark for the exam is 70%. If you are unsuccessful, you are entitled to 2 attempts to re-sit the exam for which there will be an additional charge each time.
