Ways to pay your account in Northampton

Direct Debit

It is very easy to set up a Direct Debit over the telephone. Call us on 0300 330 7000 or email [email protected].

If you do not want to set up the Direct Debit over the telephone, you can discuss the arrangement with us and then complete a direct debit form below and post or email it to us.

Telephone payment line - automated (24 hours a day)

Call 0300 126 7000 to make a payment using the following credit and debit cards:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • Visa Debit
  • Maestro
  • Switch
  • Solo

You will need to quote the appropriate reference number and have your debit or credit card to hand to complete the transaction.

Cheques should be made payable to West Northamptonshire Council.

No receipts can be issued unless specifically requested.


Payments can be made online using our secure payment system.

Payzone and Post Office

Payment can be made at most retail outlets displaying Payzone or at any Post Office using the bar code on the front of your letter or invoice, or (for Former Tenant Arrears) your swipe card.
