The following services are available to Northampton Area residents:
Private Sector Housing Solutions
The Private Sector Housing Solutions team work in partnership with the National Health Service and West Northants Council to help people with their support needs to enable them to stay in their homes. They can also help with Disabled Facility Grants.
Sheltered Housing
Extra Care schemes supports younger disabled or retired people to live independently and manage their own affairs for as long as possible. Properties are usually flats or bungalows that are linked to a control centre, so that help can be summoned in an emergency at any time of day or night. Support staff also visit residents to check on their wellbeing, help them to maintain their independence, signpost them to other agencies, and provide information and advice.
