Former council websites switch-off

In the 3 years since Northamptonshire adopted a unitary authority model, we have been moving and improving website content and forms from the previous county, borough and district council websites.

That process is now nearly complete, and the previous websites will be switched off at the end of March 2024.

These include:

• northamptonshire.gov.uk
• daventrydc.gov.uk
• northampton.gov.uk
• southnorthants.gov.uk

If you are responsible for a partner or local website that currently links to council services, please ensure any links are up to date and point to content on this website (www.westnorthants.gov.uk).

North Northamptonshire

If information relates to the former Corby, East Northants, Kettering or Wellingborough areas, you'll find it on the North Northamptonshire Council website.

What happens next

We are improving the West Northamptonshire Council website all the time. We have recently published the first Easy Read versions of pages and this work will continue.

We are still in the process of re-branding some of our forms, which will be completed later this year.
