Your Money, Your Say: Watch our Budget Question Time event

Thank you to everyone who took part in our first-ever Budget Question Time event.

Whether you joined us live, submitted a question in advance or are catching up afterwards, your interest and involvement are appreciated.

The session focused on the Council’s draft budget proposals for 2026/27 and gave residents, businesses and community groups the opportunity to hear directly from the Leader of the Council, Cabinet Members and senior officers. 

It also provided space for open discussion about the financial challenges facing local government and the choices that lie ahead.

A wide range of questions were asked during the event, covering topics important to our residents and communities. 

We are currently reviewing and compiling these into a set of frequently asked questions, along with clear responses.
