The CE Academy - Spring Gardens Campus
How to contact this service
Description
The CE Academy's Spring Gardens is a mixed alternative provision. It teaches Key Stage 3 (ages 11-14, or Years 7-9). It is part of the Tove Learning Trust.
The CE Academy provides alternative education for young people who are permanently excluded, at risk of exclusion, or dual-registered. They respond to the educational needs of pupils who would otherwise be attending mainstream or special schools, and pupils take the appropriate external examinations. Pupils have personalised learning plans. Academic expectations are high and related to pupils’ abilities. Pupils who are at risk of exclusion, pregnant, school-age mothers, or dual-registered can be referred to the academy by their school. Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils can be referred to the academy by their school or by the local authority, as can permanently excluded pupils.
