Description
Families
Clearly Speaking currently specialise in supporting families who have a family member who has autistic spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), learning difficulties, including those who may be struggling with key aspects of becoming independent adults due to difficulties with social communication, self-esteem, and confidence.
Children and Young People
Clearly Speaking run various social and leisure activities and services for children, teenagers and young adults ages from birth to 25, who have special needs and disabilities. These include:
- Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme
- A gardening club
- Counselling services
- Clearly Cool youth clubs
- Volunteering opportunities
- Holiday activities
They also run activity social clubs for over 25s and they work with adults over the age of 18 to promote independence and to improve self-esteem, social communication difficulties and mental health difficulties. They have a number of sessions for adults of all ages.- see the website for more information.
Referrals
Clearly Speaking allow referrals from anywhere in the UK for specialist services. They can provide support via Skype, phone call, or (if you're willing to travel) at the centre in Buckingham.

Monday
10am -12pm, (juniors age 5-13)
12pm - 1pm, support to volunteers (14 to adult)
1pm - 3.30pm (seniors 14-19years)
4pm - 6pm all pupil/students and ages learning/teaching support individual or small group
4-6pm gardening
Tuesday
9.30am - 12.30pm – parent and family support, individual meeting and registering of families, identifying difficulties, any solutions, or, action plans to help and support
Wednesday
10am -12pm Juniors
12.30 -1pm support to volunteers
1 - 3.30pm cookery for seniors.
4 - 6pm teaching/Learning,
4 - 8pm cookery
Friday
10am -12pm - Juniors crafts
12 -1pm support to Clearly Team.
1 - 3.30pm seniors
4 - 6pm individual or small group, teaching/learning.
4 - 6pm gardening for everyone registered.
Saturdays
11am - 3pm - Dungeons and Dragons, small groups.
All are both face-to-face and will use Zoom to invite others in who cannot reach the centre, invitation is only offered by senior leaders as they plan individual sessions, which will be as fair as it is possible for Clearly to organise.
