Description

West Northamptonshire Council’s day service for people with high support needs is for people who require a more intensive support package. It’s a long-term service for people aged 18+ with eligible needs (as per the Care Act 2014). 

What this Service Can Do for You

Long term care provided by a day service supports people with ongoing high individual support needs to support you with: 

  • a fully supported transition from school or an educational setting (where required)
  • person-centred support based on individual support needs
  • outcome-focussed support to build a person’s skills
  • an enabling service that helps people to maximise their strengths and fulfil their potential
  • support with positive risk-taking - to enable people to achieve their goals

A social care professional must refer you to this service.
