Working with the Educational Psychology Service

Educational Psychology Service Partnership Agreement

The Annual Partnership Agreement describes the type and level of support provided by West Northamptonshire Educational Psychology Service for the academic year, as requested by the school/setting via the online form.

Services are delivered by EPS practitioners, including trainees who are supervised by senior, qualified EPs.

To ensure effective service delivery, work should be distributed evenly across the six school terms during the planning meeting.

Key definitions

  • EPS practitioners: all professionals delivering services—assistants, trainees, educational psychologists and senior staff
  • EPS senior managers: the principal and senior educational psychologists overseeing service quality
  • Organisations: schools, settings or services commissioning EPS support
  • Organisation senior staff: relevant managers authorised to commission EPS services within schools, settings or services
  • Partnership Agreement: the formal agreement outlining the number of EPS service days purchased for the academic year

Schools and settings can commission support directly from the EPS using a Partnership Agreement which covers Educational Psychologist (EP) work.
