Have your say: Draft SEND and Inclusion Strategy 2027-2030

Overview
The draft SEND and Inclusion Strategy 2027 to 2030 sets out a shared vision for children and young people with SEND to receive the right support, in the right place, at the right time, enabling them to thrive in their communities. It has been developed through extensive engagement with families, young people, education, health and social care professionals, alongside wider co-production activities. Feedback gathered through surveys, focus groups and community conversations has helped identify the issues that matter most to local people.
The draft strategy is built around six key priorities:
- Voice, information and trust
- Earlier help and inclusion
- Joined-up specialist support
- Local sufficiency and stability
- Transitions and preparation for adulthood
- Whole-family wellbeing
