Have your say on the future of Obelisk House Care Home

Background
Obelisk House Care Home has space for up to 44 people and is almost full. However, the building is over 40 years old and was designed very differently from modern care homes today.
People living in care homes often need more support now than in the past. We want to make sure Obelisk House Care Home can provide high-quality care and meet people’s needs now and in the future.
Proposed options for the future
We have come up with three possible options for Obelisk House Care Home. We want your views on these options, as well as any other ideas you may have.
The three options being considered are:
- To make no change to the existing facilities;
- Invest in remodelling the home
- Commence a safe closure programme
You can find more details about each option in the questionnaire.
Have your say
It takes 15 to 20 minutes to complete. Your answers are anonymous and will help us understand what people think about the options.
Your feedback will be carefully considered and included in a report that will be presented to a future Cabinet meeting later this year, where decisions will be made about Obelisk House Care Home.
You do not have to answer every question - you can skip any you are unsure about. You can also ask someone to help you, but it’s important that your answers reflect your own views and experiences.
