West Northamptonshire Pre- Submission Local Plan Regulation 19 Consultation

This consultation provides an opportunity to comment on whether the Local Plan is legally compliant and sound. Representations received during this consultation will be submitted alongside the Local Plan for independent examination by a Planning Inspector.
Background
The West Northamptonshire Local Plan will guide future development across the area to 2043, including housing, employment, infrastructure, transport, and protection of the built and natural environment.
Preparation of the Local Plan has been informed by an extensive programme of evidence gathering, stakeholder engagement and public consultation. This has included four Regulation 18 consultations, engagement with local communities, infrastructure providers, landowners, developers, statutory consultees and other stakeholders
Feedback received throughout the plan-making process has been considered alongside the Council's evidence base and has informed the preparation of this Pre Submission Version (Regulation 19) Local Plan.
This consultation is the final opportunity to make representations before the Local Plan is submitted for independent examination by a Planning Inspector.
