Inquest court is usually held on Wednesdays and Thursdays between 10:00am and 4:30pm, but this can change, so please do refer to the court listings for the most up to date information.
We respectfully ask everyone to act carefully and remain cautious and take personal responsibility to keep yourself and others safe.
The Courts Listings Officer will be in contact with all parties prior to any reconvened inquest and ensure that any Interested Persons are provided with copies of any relevant documents in good time before the inquest is held. We aim to meet any provisional inquest dates where possible, but it may be necessary to adjourn some inquests where there are delays in receiving evidence from key witnesses, or if there are ongoing investigations by other agencies.
You will be able to attend court in person. However, on written application to the Coroner you may submit a request to attend via video link which will be considered.
There are currently no restrictions on number of persons in attendance in our courts but we would ask that you contact our office if you wish to attend with a large number of family, friends or other persons. Hand sanitising facilities are available in all areas of the Court and other rooms and you are invited to use these regularly. There are no refreshment facilities available so it is recommended you bring bottled water with you. You cannot eat or drink inside the Court room.
