Hoofprints Facilitated Learning offers young people a chance to take part in therapeutic horse activities in a special outdoor setting. The team has worked with many different kinds of young people, including those who may have:

• learning challenges
• sensory issues
• emotional or behavioural difficulties
• depression or eating disorders
• physical disabilities
• responsibilities as young carers
• mental health concerns

Hoofprints helps young people feel like they belong in their communities. Some of these young people may feel left out or at risk of becoming isolated because of illness or disability.

Hoofprints provides them chances to grow, learn, and make positive changes. They do this by focusing on each person’s unique needs and offering support in a flexible, caring way.

All learning at Hoofprints takes place outside. It includes:

• Horse-based learning experiences (also called Equine Facilitated Learning)
• One-to-one and small group sessions
• Learning opportunities to support education
