Description

Unlike standard disabled toilets, 'Changing Places' toilets meet the needs of people with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) or physical disabilities (such as spinal injuries, muscle-wasting conditions, and multiple sclerosis). They feature:

  • A tracking hoist system (or mobile hoist)
  • Enough space for the disabled person and up to two carers
  • A centrally-placed toilet with room either side for carers
  • A screen or curtain to allow privacy
  • A wide tear-off paper roll to cover the bench
