The Parker E-Act Academy

The Parker E-Act Academy is a mainstream secondary academy for 11-18 year-olds in Daventry. It has a sixth-form and a unit provision (UP) on-site. The school is part of the E-ACT Multi-Academy Trust.

Unit Provision - Parker Plus

Type: Specialist Unit Provision

Age Range: KS3-KS5 (Ages 11-19)

Primary Area of Need: Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)

• Can work towards mainstream curriculum access

Not suitable for children who

• Needs cannot be safely supported in mainstream
• Primary need is not SEMH

Students remain members of the wider academy community.

Key Things for Parents to Know

• The provision is particularly aimed at students whose anxiety presents a significant barrier to learning.
• Students remain part of the wider school community and can access mainstream learning where appropriate.
• The provision focuses on emotional wellbeing, engagement in learning, confidence and preparation for adulthood.
• Students can continue their education into sixth form as part of the academy community.

All pupils in the unit provision will have an Education, Health, and Care (EHC) Plan. The Local Authority will have identified their needs as requiring placement at The Parker E-Act Academy's unit provision.
