The Rushmere Academy is an alternative provision for young people who are disengaged from mainstream education and require support to enhance their education package. The Rushmere Academy has a team of five dedicated professional tutors, coaches and support staff who are passionate about helping young people break down their barriers and get back into education or achieve some qualifications for the end of their school life. The Rushmere Academy offers qualifications that can be used toward Progress points within the 'home school' and low level qualifications for young people to enhance other subjects being taken at their 'home school'. The Rushmere Academy works up to three days per week with the young people and will offer a tailored engagement strategy to ensure the young person in on the best programme for their individual needs. The Rushmere Academy are unable to accept students with an EHC Plan.
