The Seeds of Change Ltd

The Seeds of Change (TSOC) is a therapeutic learning centre that uses horses to deliver therapeutic and academic courses in outdoor environment. Working with children, young people, and adults (from aged 5+) who want to achieve their potential and improve their life chances in school or the workplace.

The Seeds of Change is for:

• Those that are are struggling with their social, emotional, or mental health (SEMH). TSOC works alongside other professionals to offer support. It can also support those waiting for other interventions or appointments.
• Anyone who has encountered trauma, loss, bereavement, or abuse.
• Those who are at risk of exploitation.
• Anyone with conditions such as selective mutism, self-harm, eating disorders, drug or alcohol abuse, addictions, offending behaviour, SEMH, anxiety disorders, ASD/ASC, or ADHD.
• Anyone with low aspirations or low self-esteem.
• Young people who struggle to engage with mainstream education and require an intervention that supports them to overcome barriers to their learning.

The Seeds of Change offer structured sessions that are learner-led and focus on specific pre-agreed outcomes. It provides one-to-one interventions, as well as tailored group work including City & Guilds qualifications in Employability.

Sessions run between 9.30 and 15.00 during term-time.
