Adult Social Care: Social and Leisure Opportunities (Day Service) - WNC

West Northamptonshire Council’s Social and Leisure Opportunities (Day Service) is for adults who want to access social and leisure opportunities in a supported environment.

It’s a long-term service for people aged 18+ with eligible needs (as per the Care Act 2014). These needs may relate to:

• a learning disability
• autism (ASD)
• and/or a mental health condition

There are three locations in West Northamptonshire. The service at Gladstone Road supports people with both learning disabilities and physical disabilities.

What the Service Can Do for You

The service can support people to:

• build social skills and form new friendships
• take positive risks to achieve goals
• be supported by a team of staff that promotes inclusion and independence
• get support with personal care

How to Get this Service

A social care professional must refer you to this service.
